Thomas A. Grissen is Daon's CEO and a member of our board of directors. Tom oversees all strategic and operational aspects of the business worldwide and is based in Daon's Reston, Virginia office. Tom brings 20+ years of technology experience to Daon. His career spans some of the world's largest information technology companies to early stage "pure play" software companies. In all cases, these were companies of consequence within their industry.Tom is very active in government advisory groups and serves on the Board of Directors for TechAmerica's Public Sector. Tom holds a BS in business administration from Central Michigan University and an executive MBA from the Eli Broad School of Business at Michigan State University.

Carter Morris leads operations, including P&L, for all aspects of DTIS. Carter helped develop and shape numerous initiatives within the industry including the nation's first domestic known traveler program as well as the formation of the Transportation Security Clearinghouse which facilitates the background vetting for aviation workers nationwide. He played key roles in several cooperative initiatives between government and the aviation industry since 2001, including supporting Transportation Secretary Norm Mineta's aviation industry Rapid Response Team in the weeks following 9/11 and most recently as Chairman of the TSA Aviation Security Advisory Committee.Carter is also currently Executive Vice President of Services, for the American Association of Airport Executives, where he previously served in several senior management and policy roles.

Prior to that, Carter worked in the White House and in public affairs for the General Services Administration. He holds a degree in public affairs from Syracuse University and an MBA from the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business.

Scott Hoenigman has 18 years of experience in software engineering with deep knowledge of enterprise architecture and distributed systems. He designs and delivers robust and scalable technical solutions through experience gained by working on high-visibility technical projects deployed across the globe. He possesses the ability to craft practical, thoughtful solutions to even the most abstract of technical problems. He is known as a dedicated, hard-working and detail-oriented professional who is skilled at building high-performing teams and delivering results.

Scott holds a BS in Business Management/Law and Public Policy from University of Maryland University College and a MSA in Information Resource Management from Central Michigan University.

Doug Swope is Daon's VP of Information Technology and Security with responsibilities spanning Daon's global presence and customer base. Doug brings close to 20 years of experience in information technology including a vast knowledge of information security. Since 2009, Doug has taken an active interest in policy concerns regarding the areas of information security and data privacy.

Doug holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems from James Madison University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Technology Management from Georgetown University. Doug's internationally recognized professional credentials include CISSP-ISSAP, ISSMP, CAP, CISM, CISA, CGEIT, CRISC, C|CISO, CIPT, CIPM, CIPP/US and PMP.
